Connecting to Bare Paint

In this brief tutorial Bibi demonstrates a few different ways you can connect your AA Batteries directly to Bare Paint to light up an LED on paper, fabric, or a wall.

Below you will find some more information on the components used in the tutorial, where you can get them, and some alternatives to soldering.

Quick note on Soldering:

In this tutorial we suggest you solder your paper clips, snaps, etc, to the wires. However, if you don't have any soldering equipment or expertise don't worry! There are many ways to connect components to wires:

1) One option is to strip a longer length of the wire and simply twist the wire in a loop around the component. This method will work fine to secure the component to the wire.

2) Another way to do this is to use Bare Paint to glue the wire to your component. This method will take a little bit longer as you will have to wait for the paint to dry properly, but is a good alternative to soldering.
