Discover Tournai - An Interactive Map To Learn About the City Tournai

The French agency Mamatus created an interactive projection mapping installation for visitors to learn more about the city Tournai.

Discover Tournai is an interactive installation made by Mamatus, allowing visitors to the Tournai Tourist Office to discover the city's iconic monuments in a fun and original way. Animations projected on the plan give historical information, anecdotes and invite visitors to go to the places to find out more.

For this installation the team at Mamatus printed a map of the city Tournai onto a wooden wall. Twelve monuments of the city were added in relief, acting as the touch points. Upon touching one of these monuments, an animation was played, alongside text and sound.
